Artist's Description

Remember all those old programs that simulated life by setting up a lifecycles of "organisms" - where their life span was determined by some algorithm of proximity to others, availability of food, etc? For some reason, this one reminds me of all that. A grid of cells - both organic and mechanical/artificial. Order and chaos.
