Description

Part of my Tropical Vibe series. Every so often, I find myself returning to old photos of places I've been. I used to be so good about taking pictures all the time - i *really* need to nurture that habit a bit more. When inspiration is low, these photos help me find direction. Here - and the works that will follow this weekend - I went through photos I took of our first trip to Jamaica. I'm loving this style (would you call it abstract expressionism?) and am looking forward to exploring it a bit more. I really should have taken more art history courses. :-P
